The award-winning “Clearly Climara” campaign for Berlex’s estradiol transdermal patch creatively and visually communicated the obvious benefit of this menopausal symptom treatment over its competition.
Elestrin Re-launch Patient Sampling Kit
Elestrin estradiol transdermal gel was re-launched into the estrogen therapy market by Azur Pharma (recently acquired by Jazz Pharmaceuticals). Because Elestrin is a gel that provides estrogen therapy through less traditional transdermal delivery, an incentive-based patient sampling kit was created to help boost patient and physician adoption. In addition to a sample-sized metered-dose pump, the kit also included a patient instruction guide and a co-pay coupon.
COUMADIN “Women and Stroke Awareness” Brochures
Part of a COUMADIN stroke awareness campaign, this series of brochures focused on the impact of stroke in women, an underrecognized patient population. Topics focused on gender-specific incidence, risk factors, health impact, prevention, and economic burden.
For the US launch of this intrauterine contraceptive option, HLG crafted the logo, branding, and “Make the Mirena Recommendation” physician promotion. By emphasizing the importance of the “recommendation,” the campaign encouraged doctors to include the IUD among other more common choices such as oral contraceptives and barrier methods.
