Depression: NeuroStar TMS Therapy Launch Campaign
NeuroStar Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy is the first and only nonsystemic, noninvasive device for the treatment of depression in patients who have not previously benefited from antidepression medication therapy. This launch campaign, used for both the physician and patient audiences, helped demonstrate this revolutionary device’s effectiveness in treating depression. By deemphasizing the hardware aspect of NeuroStar, the promotion made it more acceptable to psychiatrists unaccustomed to nonpharmacological approaches to treating depression.
Schizophrenia: FazaClo Customer Support Campaign
This campaign emphasized the vulnerability of refractory schizophrenia patients and the importance of medication adherence. With the proper support services in place, physicians can feel assured that their schizophrenic patients receiving FazaClo are likely to stay on track with treatment.
Schizophrenia: FazaClo Suicide Indication Campaign
In addition to the treatment of schizophrenia, FazaClo is also indicated for reducing the risk of recurrent suicidal behavior in patients with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. This campaign focused on the alarming and underrecognized impact of suicide in the schizophrenic patient population.
Parkinsonian Syndromes: DaTscan Launch Campaign
The first and only brain imaging agent of its kind, GE Healthcare’s DaTscan provides a visual tool to assist physicians in determining whether or not movement disorder symptoms are more likely related to essential tremor or a parkinsonian syndrome. This launch campaign was designed to showcase the visual distinctiveness and ease of interpretation of DaTscan images. By providing a normal or abnormal scan result, DaTscan offers visual evidence of disease that helps add clarity to a physician diagnosis.
Parkinsonian Syndromes: DaTscan Launch Website
As part of the launch campaign for GE Healthcare’s DaTscan, the first and only brain imaging agent for differentiation between essential tremor and parkinsonian syndromes, this website provides an in-depth review of parkinsonian syndromes and DaTscan to three different target audiences: neurologists, nuclear imagers, and patients/caregivers. The website utilizes several different interactive features, including videos of key opinion leaders, a DaTscan imaging center locator, and tutorials specialized for the nuclear imager audience.
Brain Monitoring: BIS Brain Function Monitoring Systems Campaign
BIS Systems allows physicians to monitor the effect of anesthesia on the brain during surgery, helping enable a more precise and patient-specific delivery of anesthesia. This campaign series helped identify for physicians the critical scenarios in which the addition of a BIS brain function monitoring device was most useful.
